Dr. Robert E. Peters, Sr
Superintendent Dr. Robert E. Peters, Sr. is a dedicated pastor, spiritual leader and an uncompromising preacher in Christ.
Challenging the church to stand out as a beacon in the community, it is known to be a church caring for the needs of the less fortunate.
Dr. Peters received his call into the gospel ministry in 1971 and was ordained as an Elder in 1976 under the leadership of our founder the late Elder Willie Newton.
In 1986 he was appointed pastor of New Haven COGIC by the late Bishop Benjamin Crouch and has served faithfully over 35 years.
His leadership ability and faithfulness is apparent and recognized not just locally, but throughout the nation. Since 1993, he has served as Superintendent of the Love and Unity District of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and is First Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdictional Prelate Bishop J. Bernard Hackworth.
A family man, Dr. Peters is married to First Lady Evangelist Carol Peters along with 5 children and numerous grandchildren.

Evangelist Carol Peters is the First Lady of New Haven Church Of God In Christ.
Evangelist Peters received her license in 2000 under the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, Bishop J. Bernard Hackworth, Prelate. Evangelist Peters serves as Co-Chairwoman of the Ministers Wives Auxiliary in the Jurisdiction's Womens Department.
Evangelist Peters is a true anointed woman of God who allows the Holy Ghost the right of way in her deliverance of God's Word.
She serves as the President of the New Haven's Womens Department and Leader of the Minister and Deacons Wives Circle. Evangelist Peters believes that one must truly surrender themselves to the Lord so that they can be used of Him for soul winning and Kingdom building. Her desire is to always please the Lord.
